Encontrar imagens desta casa fez-me sentir a necessidade de me desviar do tema deste blog para as partilhar. Situada em Joshua Tree, no Deserto de Mojave, Califórnia, EUA, foi projetada pelo arquiteto Kendrick Bangs Kellog e pelo designer John Vugrin, responsável pelo interior da habitação. Concluída em 1993, a sua construção fez-se a partir de materiais cuidadosamente selecionados das suas redondezas, para além de cimento, aço, vidro e cobre. (x)

Finding pictures of this house made me feel like forgetting this blog's theme for a second in order to share them. Built in Joshua Tree, Mojave Desert, CA, this house was designed by architect Kendrick Bangs Kellog and designer John Vugrin, who worked on its interior. It was finished in 1993 and it is made of not only concrete, steel, glass and copper, but also other materials carefully picked from its surroundings. (x)
